Tacara:I am interested in joining the American Nurse Association, a professional nursing organization. This is so that we may offer our clients the best possible support at the time and in the manner that the other person desires to support them. Every course a student nurse takes opens the door to a world of potential influences that must be taken into consideration.
Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse will be the best suitable nursing certification that might fit my future plans. This is because being a nurse was the best decision I ever made. We are hardworking, caring men and women who want to help people. Not particularly original, but just my opinion (Boamah et.l, 2018). It does take thick skin, nerves of steel, strong legs and back, and critical thinking skills to be successful. Not everyone can go into nursing or the medical field. Regarding my transformation leadership skills, one of the aspects of the TEACH values discussed in the lesson that I think will benefit my working environment if adopted is the teamwork aspect. To incorporate this chosen TEACH value into my working environment I would ensure that there is a collaboration among the team members so that we can achieve our set goals as well as work in unison(Boamah et.l, 2018). One of the best things about working collaboratively with individuals who bring diverse skills collections plus experiences to the table is learning from their capabilities.

Kaitlin:Professor and Class,
I am not currently in any nursing organizations and I have honestly not looked into participating in any. With this discussion I have looked into more organizations and have gained interest in some of the organizations they have to offer. One organization I have now looked into is the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA). This organization’s dedication is the future of emergency nursing. I have looked into getting more certifications once I complete my bachelors. Some certifications that fit into my future plans are CEN, CCRN, CPN, and CPEN. These are the certifications that I have started looking into. As an emergency room nurse critical care and emergency medicine is the specialty and gaining knowledge and skills is beneficial for my practice. As far as the pediatric certifications, in the emergency department we also deal with pediatric patients who at times can be very sick. The hospital that I currently work at does not have pediatrics at all, so the emergency room deals with pediatric cases and transfers to the appropriate facility if necessary. Increasing my education in peds would be beneficial for my practice.CU Transformational Leadership Discussion
Regarding the TEACH values I would say that accountability would most benefit my work environment if it were adopted. As of right now my facility is going through a transition and lacks a sense of accountability and leadership. Accountability is important in order to develop a strong team and improve patient outcomes. As a transformational leader I would encourage the use of this value in my work environment by educating the staff. Accountability is a skill that one must take upon themselves in order to put it to use. As a leader educating your staff on the importance of holding yourself accountable for your own practice may be beneficial. CU Transformational Leadership Discussion
